The Saint Elias Lebanese Food & Cultural Festival in Birmingham - Apr 9–10
Celebrating its 100th Year in the City of Birmingham, St. Elias Church will hold a Lebanese Food & Cultural Festival, featuring homemade Lebanese food including baked kibbee, lemon grilled chicken, rolled grape leaves, spinach and meat pies, loobia, rice, Lebanese salad and falafel sandwiches, homemade desserts, and more savory selections. Along with the festivities, daily church tours, a silent auction, entertainment and dancing demonstrations will be held each night.
Artists from across the Southeast gather under the dogwoods to showcase their works at the Eufaula Pilgrimage Art Show Apr 9–11. The Juried show held as part of the annual Eufaula Pilgrimage.

Grand American Road Racing boasts two strong series - the Rolex Sports Car Series and the Koni Challenge Series. While you're there be sure to visit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, home of more than 1,000 vintage motorcycles and 50 cars – the largest collection of vintage motorcycles in the world.
The Inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Alabama - If you cannot make it to the Rolex Sports Car Series Apr 9–11, you can still quench your need for speed as Helio Castroneves, Danica Patrick, Dan Wheldon and more drivers compete in the Inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Alabama in Birmingham.
Which came first - the chicken or the egg? You could find out at Apr 10–11 at the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival in Moulton. During this event there will be a Chicken-clucking contest, karaoke, live bantam chicken display, egg-eating contests, entertainment, arts and crafts fair and Down on the Farm agricultural expo.
Gardendale, Alabama will host the Magnolia Festival Apr 15–17 to celebrate spring with events like the North End Council Flower Show, a classic car show, pooch parade, kids carnival including remote-controlled NASCAR car racing attraction, Eurobungy. Also at this festival will be a children's village of activities, including Kids 'N Art (free art classes), and a cookie eating contest for great prizes. This is a great time to enjoy all the food, including Barbecue ribs, smoked pork tacos, catfish, fried Oreos and fried cheese cake, kettle corn, shaved ice, Italian ice, and fresh lemonade that are favorites at festivals. stick around for the live entertainment on Friday and Saturday that features pop, Christian, country, bluegrass, and classic oldies!
Apr 17–18 in Cullman, Alabama is the Bloomin' Festival Arts and Crafts Fair that is a two-day juried arts festival will feature more than 140 booths filled with artists demonstrating and exhibiting their work.

Put on your running shoes and join the Noble Street Festival/Cheaha Challenge in Anniston Apr 17–18. The Noble Street becomes cyclists and pedestrians hotspot for a day during the Noble Street Festival. This family festival features pro bike races, the Red Diamond Restaurant Tour, music, art, a running race, and children's activities.
NASCAR returns to Alabama at the Aaron's Dream Weekend at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega Apr 23–25. This will be the first race for the year at the track, and will include the ARCA Re/Max Series on Friday features some of racing's brightest stars ready to shine at Talladega Superspeedway. The Aaron's 312, NASCAR Nationwide Series takes place on Saturday, and the Aaron's 499 on Sunday.
