Bill Richardson: God Wants Iowa To Be The First Caucus State

Robert Paul Reyes
"Iowa, for good reason, for constitutional reasons, for reasons related to the Lord, should be the first caucus and primary," Richardson, New Mexico's governor, said at the Northwest Iowa Labor Council Picnic. "And I want you to know who was the first candidate to sign a pledge not to campaign anywhere if they got ahead of Iowa. It was Bill Richardson."

Who uttered these insane words? A leader of the KKK who is delighted that a state with a 95.79% white population plays such a pivotal role in electing the president? Someone who hears from the Lord on a daily basis, like Pat Robertson? The president of the Iowa board of tourism?

This crazy comment was uttered by Bill Richardson, an Hispanic who should be outraged that a small homogenous state plays such an important part in deciding the presidency.

Bill Richardson, should be boycotting Iowa, in the hopes that a more ethnically diverse state should be given the honor of holding the first caucus or primary.

"Other states have been jockeying to beat Iowa to hold the first presidential caucus. Many Democratic candidates have promised to skip campaigning in states that try to position themselves before Iowa."

Democrats have a long history of fighting for the rights of minorities, and any Democrat who supports Iowa's "God-given" right to be the first caucus state, should be ashamed of himself.
