Free Necklaces Goes National Today from 45 Independent Jewelers to Unemployed, Foreclosed
Now, a group of 45 independent jewelers across the U.S. and Canada are also participating. Debbie Fox, owner of Fox Fine Jewelry, assembled the group through her membership in the Independent Jeweler´s Organization, the largest buying group in the world.
"We are a group of jewelers who have come together as a group who want to help and give back to our communities," a group statement said. "In the spirit of gratitude and hope, each of our U.S. and Canadian group of 45 jewelers has purchased at least 100 sterling silver necklaces to give away, free to anyone who has either lost their job or home."
Necklaces are crafted of sterling silver and valued up to $99 each. Each necklace is presented in a jewelry box with gift wrapping, if desired. For a complete listing of participating stores, visit www.foxfinejewelry.com or www.ijo.com.
To claim a necklace, individuals must present their personal identification and letter of termination or foreclosure notice.
